Authenticity as Currency

Over the coming years we will see changes in the online sphere as the desire for authenticity grows stronger in the ever increasing artificiality of the online world. People are becoming more and more fed up with the fakeness and bullshit on social media. Many celebrities are losing their credibility and relatability, this is especially clear from the recent American election as celebrities tried to sway the peoples votes. AI content is becoming easier and easier to make and distribute, making it lose value and viewer retention, unless integrated into a creators artistic and intellectual expression. Those who rely on Ai for the bulk of their content will weaken their position within the creator economy if it doesn’t come from an authentic and aligned place.

Which brings me to this point. As we move forward within this rapidly evolving digital space, people will gravitate and resonate with those who are true to who they are. Those eccentric individuals who are forward thinkers, unapologetically being themselves and living their life. In a world of ever increasing artificiality, people are craving authenticity more than ever. People want community, they want other people they can resonate with and understand, they want emotional validation and recognition for the fact that their weirdness is magnetic also.

It is in authenticity that we find the essential connections that lead us towards our hearts desires. I have found this time and time again in my own life - like my unfiltered passion for a project led to a man giving me £50,000 to fund it. The more genuine I show up online, the more engagement and love I got. The more I expressed myself truly, the deeper my friendships and the loyalty of my closest circle. Our security and stability is strengthened by the alignment of our heart with our actions and expressions. The more people feel you, the more they will trust you. The more they trust you, the more invested they become in you and your journey, thus gaining you support in a multitude of ways; be it material, financial, emotional, etc.

So if you want to stay ahead in these changing times, then seek to strengthen the relationship you have with yourself. Learn your inherent value, how to convey that value and express yourself authentically. This is the leading edge of our collective evolution.

Remember, your security lies in you, not anybody else, the more you know and develop yourself then the more secure you will become.
